Pirates

Today I teamed up with the Pirate Crew who is also here in Umeå filming for their up and coming project.
Hans Åhlund and Björn Hartweger was hitting a clean spot just downtown U-Town. I've got the second angle while they got the main angle covered with their RED camera.
No biggie!

Back in Umeå

So, I'm here again.
Apparently Umeå got some more sick spots to offer us, so we're here again trying to get some more shots.

Arrived here yesterday and we went to and old well know spot that been hitted before, but this time I was there with my camera too and not just JOWE's stillcamera. Everyone got shots, so I'm pretty stoked about that. I would even say that Kire got a banger!

OK Computer

Okey, here's the deal.
My three year old Macbook works like a charm. BUT, I've only got the 80GB harddrive in it. So the free space get filled up really really fast. That's why I decided to put in a 320GB harddrive instead. But damn, that was a bit tricky!
Thanks to Martin Beecroft aka Maran for assistance. I couldn't have done it without you.
From 80GB to 320GB. Yeah!
We had to remove the top case to get it done though. Lots of tiny ass screws to remove.
Now it works like a charm. BUT, there's still this big round hole of dead pixels on the screen.
The dead pixel thing seems to be some kind of pattern for me when it comes to technical gears. Almost creepy.
What are these black holes trying to say to me...?

Oakley Jib Vid

The Oakley Jib Vid is a film/snowboardcontest that takes place in Mayrhofen, Austria this March.

Me, Kire and Gustav Eén applied and were selected to participate in this years event.

18 teams will compete against eachother, giving 28 hours to create the best 2-minute short film.
10.000 euros in pricemoney.

They've just released a teaser for the upcoming 3star TTR event Piststilen by Rip Curl that will take place in Ramundberget this spring.

I've also heard that it's going to be a shitload of pricemoney for the event. Dope!

Will definitely try to be there when the shit goes down.

BC Kicker

Today we finally decided to head off to Tegefjäll/Duved to look for some backcountry spots.

Close to the skilift we found a halfbuilt kicker that we didn't quite know if we could claim or not.

After a bunch off calls to different riders in the area trying to find out who might have start to build it, we decided to go for it.

So either thank you to some vacationdudes, or sorry to some other riders who was planning to hit it..

Åre spotsearchin

Today the weather was supergray and boring down in the village, but when we came up to the top, the weather was pretty sweet.

We cruised around looking for something to hit, and we finally found a natural hip in Tväråvalvet that we started to hit.
After a while, Tobbe Karlsson and Chris Sörman came by and threw down some flips. Then we tried to hit a small step upjump.

The speed was kind off slow, but that didn't stop two skiers that came by to give it a try. One landed short and bounced back, and the other guy slamed in the kicker and landed with his head first in to the wall.

SOO FUNNY! Keep your eyes open for the shots in a coming Clip of The Week.

Managed to get a short timelapse while waiting for the other riders to join.
Spotsearchin. Most of the pow is gone now. So you have to look twice as hard to find fresh spots!

Sunwing Åre

Yesterday  we decided to hit the classical Tott-Rail. Or as it's also called; The Sunwing Rail.

Wasn't superstoked to film that spot since the rail is kinda sketchy and steep and I was skeptical that any tricks we're about to go down.

But when the session was over all of the riders had got some shots. Fresh!

Åre Backcountry

Today We've had another bangin day.

The day started off great in Bräcke, but around 11 o clock the classical bad weather hit the whole lower zone
Then we decided to head up on the mountain to see if we could find something interresting to shoot.

Got at least one banger from Kire I would claim. Really smooth spot, but a little bit sketchy since the avalanche risk are pretty high.

I'm currently hangin out in Åre.

Last weekend was off the hook with lots of fun shredding and a whole lot of fun partying.

Kire and Mushroom shredder Emil Fossheim are here with me aswell so hopefully we could get some shots during the week.

Övik Shredding

These last couple of days I've just been hangin out at home in Övik.
But on monday I got visit from the Random Bastards Crew and we hit up two spots here on my home field.

Did the classical Down Flat Down at Parkskolan and then a long wodden downrail the other night.
Setting up the spot, look at the "bush" to the left. What are they feeding it with!? MASSIVE

Pirates

Last night we teamed up with Hans Åhlund and his Pirates Crew when they also we're here shooting in Umeå.

Umeå Spotmission

This last week I've been hangin out in Umeyo shooting with Kire, Lil E and some other Random Bastards

It's been a nice, productive week and we have been getting shots pretty much every day.

Here's some pics of some spots we've been hitting:
